FAQs
You need to have completed Open Water Diver certification to go on our regular boat dives. If you have not been diving for a while, you may need to complete a refresher dive so please let us know if it’s been more than a year since your last dive. If you’re not certified, we do offer Discover Scuba dives so you can try it out and see if you’d like to do more.
You’ll need a regulator, BCD, mask and fins. Wetsuits and computers are optional but recommended. We offer for rental of any items you may need. You may want to bring a towel, light jacket and sun protective clothing. Sunscreen is prohibited in the marine park.
If you are not familiar with Cozumel, the marine park where most of the dive sites are located is on the southwest side of the island. We are located at the Asipona (formerly Fonatur) marina within the marine park of Cozumel, so you’ll have a quick trip to the best dive sites. We can pick up by boat at most resorts on the south side of the island. These include but are not limited to Casa del Mar, El Cid/La Ceiba, Grand Park Royal, El Presidente, The Landmark, Fiesta Americana, Secrets, Dreams, Reef Residencias, Allegro, Occidental, and Iberostar. We do not pick up at hotels north of Casa del Mar. We have an extended pick up range for groups of 5 or more divers, please inquire for details. Some resorts charge a fee to use their pier; please inquire with the resort when you book your accommodations. If you are staying elsewhere, we will meet you at our shop in the Asipona marina. https://maps.app.goo.gl/MXSqF76WdwZ8M8tZ9
We go to great effort and expense to make sure the boat and crew are ready for your dives on your scheduled dive day. If you wish to change your schedule or cancel a dive after arrival, we require 24 hrs. notice in order to issue a refund. With less than 24 hrs. notice, you will only receive a refund if we can fill your spot. No refund will be issued in the case of cancellation the day of your dive, or no-shows. For trips scheduled as 2 tanks, you will not receive a refund if you choose to dive only one tank, unless prior arrangements have been made.

You must stay with your guide at all times. Spearfishing and the use of knives, gloves or rods are prohibited within the park.

We do go to more advanced sites such as Punta Sur, Devil’s Throat and Barracuda. We require at least one regular dive trip with us before we can take to one of these sites. Scheduling is dependent on weather and availability.
We do offer full and half-day deep-sea fishing trips. Please inquire for pricing and availability.
We are happy to take out divers arriving by cruise if you arrive by our departure time. We can make special arrangements for late departure times for groups. Please inquire for details.
