Scuba Tour Agency Cozumel

You’re looking for a scuba tour agency in Cozumel. Here’s what matters: who is on your boat, how many other divers are sharing it, what the price actually includes, and whether anyone answers the phone before you arrive. We’ve been answering that question the same way since 1994.

We’ve been answering that question the same way since 1994. Family-run, South Zone-based, and built entirely around small groups and direct service. We operate out of Marina Cozumel ASIPONA at Carr. Costera Sur Km 6.5, already inside the South Hotel Zone, minutes from the Marine Park’s best sites. Small groups. Fast boats. Prices that include everything. No surprises at checkout.

We cap groups at 8 divers. Our prices include tax and the daily CONANP marine park fee, a charge many Cozumel operators add at the dock. Mask and fin rental is complimentary. We pick you up at your hotel in the South Zone.

What It Costs, All-In, No Footnotes

We publish our prices and we don’t hide what’s in them. This is the full number. Tax included. Marine park fee included. No add-ons at the dock.

Daily 2- Tank Morning Charter

For: Certified Divers, Open Water and Above in Just $115 USD

Our two-tank morning charter is the dive that built our reputation. We depart from Marina ASIPONA by 7:30am. Because we’re already in the South Hotel Zone, at Carr. Costera Sur Km 6.5, we reach Palancar, Colombia, Santa Rosa, and Yucab in 8 -15 minutes. The big operators leaving from the town pier are still motoring when we’re already gearing up.

We assess current direction and conditions every morning before selecting the site. We do not pre-announce a fixed site and then try to dive it regardless of what the water is doing. Cozumel’s currents change. We read them first, then go to the reef that is performing best that day for your group’s certification level and experience.

What’s Included

  • Two tanks and weights
  • Divemaster for your group
  • CONANP marine park entry fee and tax
  • Mask and fin rental
  • Hotel pickup in the South Zone (weather permitting)
  • Surface interval on the water with snacks and water

The Sites We Dive

Palancar Reef system (Gardens, Caves, Horseshoe), Santa Rosa Wall, Columbia Shallows and Deep, Yucab (home of the endemic Splendid Toadfish), Chankanaab, Punta Sur. Sites are selected daily based on conditions, never a fixed rotation.

Twilight & Night Dive Excursions

For: All Certified Divers, in Just $125 USD (2-Tank) & $70 USD (1-Tank)

Cozumel’s reef at night is not the same reef. The species that hide in crevices all day come out after dark, octopus actively hunting across open sand, spotted moray eels working the reef with grouper, lobster moving in formations, sleeping parrotfish sealed inside mucus cocoons. And on the right nights, when light conditions are minimal and the water is slightly agitated, you will see bioluminescence: single-celled organisms that light up cold blue-green every time your hand moves through the water.

We run a full pre-dive briefing before every night dive, light protocols, buddy procedures, compass bearings back to the boat, and a walkthrough of the nocturnal behavior you’re likely to see. We have been night diving these reefs for decades. We know where the octopus hunts, which crevices the tarpon circle, and what to show you that you would not find on your own.

What’s Included

  • Tanks and weights
  • Divemaster with specific nocturnal species briefing
  • CONANP marine park entry fee and tax
  • Dive light (rental available at $10/day if needed)

First-time night divers

This is more accessible than it sounds. The reef is calmer after dark, visibility is excellent with your light, and the experience is consistently described by our guests as one of the most memorable dives of their lives. If you’re on the fence, ask us, we’ll tell you honestly whether your experience level is a fit.

Private Boat Charter

For: Families, Groups, Mixed Levels, Pricing Available on Request

When your group wants the entire boat, the entire captain and divemaster’s attention, the entire surface interval, the entire experience, without sharing it with anyone else, this is the booking. We offer private boat rentals for diving and snorkeling. You set the pace. You choose the sites with our guidance. You surface when you’re ready, not when the schedule says.

Private charters solve the problem that ruins group trips: mixed experience levels. If you have Advanced Open Water divers and newly certified Open Water divers in the same party, a standard group boat is a compromise for both. On a private charter, the divemaster works each diver’s level individually. Nobody is held back. Nobody is pushed beyond their comfort.

Private Charter Works Best For

  • Families with mixed certification levels or snorkelers
  • Dive clubs and groups of 4-8 divers who know each other
  • Underwater photographers who need a divemaster on their specific shot list
  • Couples or solo divers who want undivided attention
  • Advanced divers targeting specific sites like Devil’s Throat or Colombia Deep

Contact us directly for private charter availability and pricing. We will build the day around your group.

Your checkout dives happen on the same reef system where our experienced divers dive every morning.

Contact us for course pricing and scheduling. We will confirm your timeline and course structure before you arrive in Cozumel.

Snorkel Tours

Cozumel’s Reef From the Surface, No Certification Required

Not every person on a Cozumel trip is a certified diver. Snorkel tours with Pelagic Ventures put non-divers on the same water, and often the same boat, as our diving guests. Cozumel’s shallow reef systems at sites like Chankanaab, Colombia Shallows, and Palancar Gardens offer marine life density and visibility that makes snorkeling here genuinely remarkable, not an afterthought.

Our snorkel tours operate with the same small-group approach and the same boat access that defines our diving operation. Masks and fins are complimentary. We brief every snorkel group on reef etiquette, buoyancy in current, and the species you’re likely to see. Contact us for snorkel pricing and availability alongside any diving bookings for your group.

WHY CHOOSE PELAGIC VENTURES

Every dive operator in Cozumel calls themselves professional, experienced, and affordable. Here is what we can actually show:
